Marion, Ohio — Marion Technical College (MTC) is hosting a Kickin’ It on Campus 5K Run/Walk event on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 at 9am (registration at 8 am).
This special event will raise money (and awareness) for the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation and the Alejandro Garcia-Blessing Scholarship fund. Last year, the event had over 80 runners and raised $2,500.00 toward the cause with hopes to double that with this year’s event. Event coordinators have added chip timing to the course this year for the serious runners and still provide a fun course for those who want to go for their morning walk while supporting the cause.
Register and pay online by clicking on the banner located on the home page of www.mtc.edu or by going directly to Premier Races at https://premierraces.org/upcoming-events-calendar/191-kickin-it-on-campus-5k. T-shirts are guaranteed for all who register before September 1, 2014. The cost is $25 per person. There will be awards and prizes.
Bring a friend, enjoy the Marion Campus, and get some exercise while supporting a great cause.
