LIMA — The Spencerville Invincible Fire Department responded to a house fire Sunday night on Coon Road.

Firefighters were dispatched at 6:06 p.m. to 2948 Coon Road near Fort Amanda Road after receiving a call that the home was on fire. A firefighter at the scene said the family was at home at the time of the fire, but they had evacuated the home by the time firefighters arrived at the scene and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was not known late Sunday and the Ohio Fire Marshal’s Office had been called in to investigate the scene.

The fire was reported to have started on the second floor of the home. An estimate of the damage was not available, but the home appeared to have suffered extensive damage.
