Dustin Fraizer, son of Terry and Dawn Fraizer, of Mt Gilead, Ohio, recently became a junior member of the American Hereford Association according to an announcement from the breed’s headquarters in Kansas City, Mo.
Junior memberships are issued to thousands of youth nationwide. The American Hereford Association is the national promotion and registration for all Hereford cattle, one of the world’s leading beef brands. It conducts national and statewide programs to help youth develop industry knowledge, leadership potential, communication skills and career potential. Dustin started raising and showing cattle in 2012. He garnered Reserve Champion Bred, Born and Raised Market Steer with a Hereford Steer at the 2012 Morrow County Fair. He has plans to show his cattle in numerous state shows across Ohio, including the Ohio State and Morrow County Fair, as well as, the Junior National Hereford Expo held in Harrisburg, Pa. in 2014.
