In a coordinated effort, the Ohio Sheep Improvement Association and Ohio State University Extension are pleased to announce the 2014 Sheep and Goat Web Programs. This program offers a variety of topics and speakers in Ohio, but allows us to use speakers from other states, universities, or industry relationships with those speakers attending all of the different sites.

February 10, 2014 – Jeff McCutcheon and Rory Lewandowski, OSU Extension, “Successfully Producing Small Ruminants in a Forage Based System”

February 17, 2014 – Roger A. High and Tony Nye, The Ohio State University, “Sheep and Goat Breeds and Breed Types: Selecting the Right Breed Type for your Market”

February 24, 2014 – Dr. Richard Ehrhardt, Michigan State University, “Management and Records – “What are the important records to make Key Management Decisions for your Sheep Flock or Goat Herd”
