The Mount Gilead Park Avenue Elementary School’s PTO arranged for the elementary students to learn about the creatures of the rain forest when the program “Understanding Wildlife,” was presented to them.

“Understanding Wildlife” is a non profit organization whose goal is very simple - they want as many people as possible to see their collection of rain forest creatures and to experience the intelligence and personalities of these animals. They realize we all need to work together to make this a better world to live in for ourselves and the creatures we share it with. Students learned about different rain forest animals and the need to protect the rain forest. A second program was presented that evening and was well attended by students and their families.
