A Tuesday afternoon single vehicle accident sent two people to Columbus hospitals.A Chevrolet Suburban was northbound on County Rd 20 about 4:27 p.m. when it flipped and slid on its roof, coming to rest against the southbound ditch. A southbound driver stopped to assist the driver and passenger of the Suburban until Morrow County EMS arrived.The two were airlifted to Columbus hospitals. Also responding to the scene was the Mt. Gilead Fire Dept., the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office and Post 59 of the Ohio State Patrol.More details will be posted when they become available.

A “Boot Camp” experience and “Lift-a-thon” open the winter season for Morrow County Community Center’s new Director, Eugene Ambler. Ambler has been the Personal Trainer at the Community Center in Mount Gilead for the past few months and he now combines that work with the position of Director.

This drive includes a desire, on their part, to change the location of the shelter. They have currently raised $528.30.

Sacred Hearts Knights of Columbus Council #14671 donated the proceeds from their February Second Saturday Pancake Breakfast to No Limits Outreach Food Pantry in Edison. Our February Saturday Second Saturday Pancake Breakfast was the first one held since a fire destroyed Sacred Hearts Church on Rt. 42. We have relocated to the Cardington Lincoln Intermediate School on TWP. Rd. 168. We have a place to hold our pancake breakfast until our church is rebuilt. We have a yellow sign on SR 529.
