Gethsemane Baptist Church breaks ground

Ten months after losing their church to a devastating fire, the Gethsemane Baptist Church broke ground on a new church building Saturday September 20, 2014.Pastor Donnie Hale opened the ceremony by welcoming the group of approximately 30 church and community members “It’s been a long process with many fits and starts but we trust that the Lord has brought it about exactly the way he wanted it to happen. Shrock (Premier Construction) has been very patient with us through the process,” he said.
