No one was injured Tuesday afternoon when a 2006 Dodge Durango jumped the curb in the parking area of Snyder Funeral Home on N. Main St., Mt. Gilead, and slammed into an electric pole.Susan Sherman, Cardington, was uninjured but her vehicle sustained heavy damage and was leaking fluids. Mt. Gilead firefighters worked to absorb and clean up the liquids and broken glass. Mt. Gilead Police and Morrow County EMS also responded to the scene.Sgt. Tom Cronenwett stated the driver reported an equipment malfunction, with the vehicle lurching forward as she put it into ‘park.’The accident is under investigation.
