Mount Gilead’s Zack Hosack claimed first place in the 16-18 age group at Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association’s second tournament of the summer.

Competing at Lincoln Hills Golf Course in Upper Sandusky, Hosack scored 77 over 18 holes to win by 12 shots over Todd Crowe II of Fairbanks.

Also winning were Kameron Hall of Harding in the 13-15 age group, who shot 86, and Mason Rinehart of Pleasant, who shot 47 over nine holes and then won in a playoff against Jacob Beaschler of Fairbanks. In other local top-five placers, Cardington’s Nathan Stewart tied for third in the 13-15 age group by shooting 90.
