OLIVESBURG — Crestview jumped out to a 27-0 lead vs. Northmor on Friday en route to a 27-6 win in the season opener for the two squads.

After jumping out to a 14-0 halftime lead, the Cougars returned athe opening kickoff of the second half 85 yards for a score and never looked back vs. the Knights.

Northmor’s lone score came in the fourth period when Demetrius Johnson returned a punt 39 yards for a touchdown.

The Knights struggled on offense, gaining just 88 yards. Crestview on the other hand, rackedup 318 yards of offense.

Northmor’s Jordan Wiseman was 10-25 passing for 48 yards. He also threw an interception. The top rusher for the Knights was Matt Ross, with 18 yards on five carries.

Crestview’s other touchdowns came on 1-yard, 2-yard and 36-yard runs.
