The Northmor girls took first place in the Orange race at the Seneca East Invitational Saturday, scoring 54 points, while second-place Edison finished with 101.

Maria Lee placed fifth in 20:51.35, while Jessica Duryea took sixth in 20:51.65. Maddie Jordan ran ninth in 21:18.35, Kristen Duryea took 19th in 21:48.65 and Julianna Ditullio took 20th in 21:51.27. Also, Samantha Peters was 24th in 22:11.72 and Brooke Huntsman ran 51st in 24:11.37.

Colonel Crawford Invitational

The Northmor boys finished fourth at the Colonel Crawford Invitational Saturday, scoring 116 points.

James Walker ran 16th in 18:13.2, while Mostyn Evans took 21st in 18:53.56 and B.J. White was 25th in 19:10.5. A.J. White took 30th place in 19:21.03 and Kaleb Hart finished 32nd in 19:32.18, while Manny Heilman finished 33rd in 19:35.84 and Ryan Bentley was 39th in 19:47.68.

Also, Alex Moore was 48th, Kyle Price took 68th, Calvin Komar ran 82nd, Kolton Hart was 85th, Austin Amens ran 87th and Ethan Chapman finished 115th.

While Northmor’s girls’ varsity ran at Seneca East, they still fielded a team here, which finished seventh. Brooke Bennett was 15th in 22:54.85, while Samantha Grogg took 36th in 24:33.57 and Sabrina Kelley finished 45th in 24:59.67. Francesa Cutrupi placed 52nd in 25:59 and Carolyn McGaulley was 63rd in 27:06.53. Allyssa Pearce ran 80th in 29:55.9 and Vivienne Cutrupi took 82nd in 30:10. Also, Tori Carver was 84th.

Cardington also was at Colonel Crawford, with their girls’ team placing sixth. Taylor Linkous was 29th in 24:07.2, while Sage Brannon took 33rd in 24:16.9, Alicia McElwee was 34th in 24:21.7, Jessica Shook finished 38th in 24:45.9 and Emily Benson ran 39th in 24:50.5. Bailey Shafer ran 55th in 26:04.7 and Casey Bertke was 61st in 26:49.2. Also, Ashlee Drury was 106th.

The boys didn’t have enough runners to field a full team. Quinn Maceyko took 31st in 19:25.8, while Greg Osborne was 40th in 19:49.6. Also, Spencer Benson placed 54th in 20:35.7 and Racine Hallabrin was 121st in 28:27.9.

Newark Catholic Invitational

Highland’s boys’ cross country team was ninth at the Newark Catholic Invitational on Saturday.

Dalton Lee took 22nd in 18:17.6 to lead the Scots, while Branton Howard ran 48th in 19:21.2 and Tyler Bowen finished 62nd in 19:43.5. Christian Miller was 66th in 19:50.3 and Christian Buchholz took 67th in 19:52.1. Collin Kipp ran 74th in 19:57.3, while Zach Wetzel was 76th in 20:05.

Also, Alex McCafferty was 84th, Jacob Serio took 85th and Jimmy Tebbe ran 106th.

Highland’s girls finished 10th in the meet. Sophia Thompson placed 10th in 21:14.9 to lead the team, while Laura Spearman was 24th in 22:53.8. Elizabeth Jensen took 84th in 25:24.9 and Jenna Brown ran 87th in 25:35.4, while Brooklyn Geiger placed 108th in 26:31.3, Hailey Howard took 111th in 26:46.5 and Madison Cecil ran 121st in 27:32.8.

Also, Annie Bailey was 130th, Clarissa Dudgeon took 138th and Samantha Trusler ran 140th.
