Highland volleyball perfect in league for fourth straight year

Highland concluded another perfect Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference season in volleyball by topping Centerburg 25-10, 25-20, 25-15 on Tuesday.

The Scots have been 54-0 in league play since 2012. The team’s senior class was undefeated in league play through their high school careers after going 45-0 overall in middle school.

Ashton Terrill finished with a team-high 12 kills, while Parker Steck added eight. Taylor Belcher finished with six kills and three aces, Raina Terry had four kills and Kelsey Walters added three. Bailey Santo also had three aces.

Also winning on the night were the JV (18-3, 14-0 in league play) and freshman (13-0) teams.

Northmor Knights

Northmor finished the MOAC volleyball season with a 10-4 record as they improved to 16-5 overall with a 25-18, 25-12, 25-21 decision over Fredericktown. The Knight JVs also won.

Jordyn Zoll tallied 18 assists and four aces in the match, while Caitlin Thebeault added nine assists and five kills. Anna Donner finished with eight aces, 18 digs, 12 kills and two blocks. Cristianna Boggs had one ace and 12 digs and Lindsey Wiseman picked up 20 digs. Also, Chloe Meier had seven digs, Hope Miracle finished with four kills and Rayanna Loyer contributed three blocks.
