The Highland girls saw their season end at 8-14, 7-7 in league play, in the Division III sectionals on Tuesday when host Pleasant defeated them by a 58-31 margin.
The Spartans controlled the first three period in picking up the win. They led 11-3 after the first quarter and expanded their lead to 23-10 at the half and 44-16 after three quarter. Highland took the fourth by a 15-14 margin, but were unable to overcome that deficit.
Harlee Steck led the Scots with nine points.
