Mount Gilead couldn’t keep up with the Liberty Union girls on Saturday, as they were eliminated from the Division III playoffs by a 70-31 margin to finish with a 3-20 record.
LU took an 18-10 lead after the first quarter and increased it to a 35-14 margin by the half. They would take the third quarter 16-12 and the fourth by a 19-5 margin to claim the win.
Baylee Hack led MG with 12 points, while Madison Fitzpatrick added nine.
