The Mount Gilead Indians got back into the win column Monday night when they hosted Shekinah Christian.
MG trailed 20-16 after the opening period, but bounced back in the second to take a 35-31 lead into the half. They increased that lead to 51-45 after three periods of play and then held on to claim a 65-61 win.
The Indians had a balanced scoring output on the night. Tyler Bland scored 18 to lead the team, while both Alijah Keen and Mason Mollohan scored 11 and Isaiah Harris finished with nine.
