Mount Gilead fell to Centerburg 4-3 in a home league game on Thursday. The Indians trailed 3-0 entering the bottom of the second inning, but scored twice to get within one. Unfortunately, they would not be able to get closer, as both teams scored once in the sixth inning to provide the rest of the run production in the game.
Zack Foster suffered the loss, giving up eight hits in six innings. Cory Conant also pitched in the game. Offensively, Jake Wayt had a double and single, while Tyler Conners added a double.
