Local baseball and softball tournament draws were determined on Sunday.

All four local teams are in Division III in softball, with Cardington being named the top seed. The Pirates will host either Grandview Heights or Utica on Thursday, May 12. Northmor will also play their first game on the 12th, as they’ll host either Amanda-Clearcreek or Elgin. Highland and Mount Gilead play their first games on May 10, with the Scots hosting Fairbanks and the Indians visiting Northridge. All games are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.

For baseball, Highland is the seventh-seeded team in Division II. On May 12, they will host either Bexley or Buckeye Valley at 5 p.m.. In Division III, Mount Gilead kicks off playoff action locally by traveling to Grandview Heights for an 11 a.m. game on Saturday, May 7. Northmor will visit Fairbanks on Monday, May 9, at 5 p.m. In Division IV, Cardington will visit Millersport on May 12 at 5 p.m.
