Upper Arlington scored 13 runs in the first inning and held on to top Highland 18-5 on Tuesday. The visiting Scots got three runs in the third and two in the fifth, but were unable to catch up to their opponents.

Lucy Smith started the game, while Abby O’Bryant pitched in relief. They combined to strike out three and walk six. The Scots were outhit 17-5 in the game, with Kaitlyn Carney cracking a double.
