Highland gave up three runs in the second inning and two more in the top of the third to fall behind Buckeye Valley 5-0 in the early going of a non-league contest.

However, the Scots, who effectively clinched the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference’s Blue Division title after Fredericktown announced they had to forfeit several games due to using an ineligible player, came back to life with a four-run third to get within one score. They would then tie the game in the fifth and go in front in the sixth to win by a 6-5 margin.

Justin Robinson picked up the win in relief of Colton Liszkai, while Mack Anglin earned the save. Highland only tallied four hits in the game, but both Robinson and Shane Carney cracked doubles in the team’s four-run third.
