Don­ald L. ‘Speck’ Bachelder Jr., age 89, of Mount Gilead, died peace­fully Tues­day after­noon, August 21, 2012, at the Com­mu­nity Health­care Cen­ter in Mar­ion fol­low­ing many years of ill­nesses.
