The Cardington-Lincoln Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. in the board meeting room for a work session.
Perry Cook Memorial Library, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Trunk-or-Treat in parking lot, a costume contest, games, crafts, and treats. Presented in conjunction with Johnsville Trick-or-Treat night.
Oct. 26
Gilead Christian School Fun Night (fall festival); South Campus from 6–8:30 p.m. Tickets will be available for sale at the welcome center for 50 cents per ticket. The tickets can be used for a variety of games and activities throughout the night. Chili-Cook off will be held again this year in the café. Green wristbands can be purchased for a goodwill donation. (Suggested $3/person, $10/family). Chili is unlimited to those with a wristband. GCS staff will be asked to taste test and vote for their favorite chili with winners will be announced at the end of the evening. Games & activities.

Drug Take Back. Turn in your unused or expired medication, Kroger parking lot, 555 W. Marion St., Mount Gilead; 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Medication samples, prescription drugs of any kind, pet meds and vitamins. Remove all labels before arrival.
The Morrow County Genealogical Society will hold its monthly meeting at the Ohio Genealogical Society, 611 State Route 97, Bellville. The program, a “Scavenger Hunt at OGS”, will begin at 2 p.m. Prior to the meeting, lunch at Der Dutchman, 720 State Route 97, Bellville at noon. Reservations for lunch must be received by Oct. 23. First Presbyterian Church, 55 N. Cherry St. will host the Fourth Saturday Breakfast, 7-10 a.m. The menu will be made-to-order omelets, hash browns and toast. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. This month’s proceeds will be donated to the local food pantries.
Trick or treat on Center Street. Hosted by Seniors on Center, 41 W. Center St., Mount Gilead. 3-5 p.m.; free event. Hotdogs, kids’ activities, costume contests for children and pets; judging and prizes at 4:15 p.m.

Edison Enterprise Baptist Church craft bazaar, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., 3055 SR 95, Edison. Proceeds benefit the food pantry.
Nov. 4
The second annual Headwaters Outdoor Education Center Holiday Make-It Take-It, 2-4 p.m. The family crafts will be made with natural (pine cones, wood items, dried pods), recycled items (jars, hurricane lamps, tins) and much more. There will be ‘kid-friendly’ crafts as well as those for parents. Some materials may be limited, so they will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis. All materials and items made are free. Donations will be accepted to fund projects such as Wee Discover, Wild Days, future Make-It Take-Its and the HOEC Outreach to schools and organizations in Morrow and surrounding counties.

Sacred Hearts Holiday Craft Show, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Handlebar Ranch Sportsman Club, 6695 County Road 76, Mount Gilead. This is a home crafters show and proceeds are used to reduce church construction deft, support parish activities and Morrow County families in need.
Nov. 13
The next regular monthly board meeting of the Mount Gilead Exempted Village School District will be on the second Tuesday of the month, 7 p.m. at the Board of Education Office located at 145 N. Cherry Street, Mount Gilead. There will be no board of education meeting on Nov. 20.
