Maple Syrup Festival will be on Mar. 12

There’s nothing like the taste of fresh maple syrup on pancakes! All-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage amidst soothing live background music by Avalon Nine. Let a naturalist show you how to identify and tap maple trees; then help collect the sap! Visit the Sugar Bush and see if you can tell the difference between non-maple syrup and “The Real McCoy!” Sample maple donuts and sassafras tea, and purchase maple syrup and fresh baked goods. Reservations are not required. All proceeds benefit summer camperships. A great family experience!

The Lutheran Memorial Camp has announced plans for their 47th Annual Maple Syrup Festival, Sunday, March 12 from 11 am to 3 pm at 2790 State Route 61 near Fulton. This annual event attracts enthusiasts from across the state. The Pancake and Sausage Feast is $11 for adults and $8 for youth 3-9, kids All proceeds support their “Campership” Program to assure that all kids can go to camp.
