On Thursday, the Highland girls’ golf team fell to visiting Lexington by a 182-199 margin, but set a new school record in the process.
Ceci Grassbaugh broke her own school record of 36 by shooting 33 in the contest. The team also had one other golfer set a personal best mark in the match, as Ellie Rhea shot 55.
Also on Thursday, the Highland boys were edged at River Valley by a 175-176 margin in a dual match.
Jayden Collins shot 38 to lead the team and was followed by Carter Merckling, who shot 44. Hunter Ebner added a score of 45 and Wayne Morrison shot a personal best 49.
