The Highland boys’ soccer team lost a close one at Buckeye Valley on Monday.
The Scots fell 1-0 in the contest, with the only goal coming via a Baron penalty kick in the first half.
In the girls’ contest, Buckeye Valley took a 5-1 win over Highland.
They scored twice in the first half to take a lead and then held a 3-1 advantage over the course of the second half to preserve their win. Highland finished with 16 shots on goal in the contest and also had four corners, while the defense created three offside traps.
