The Mount Gilead volleyball picked up a 25-23, 25-19, 14-25, 25-18 road non-league win against Ridgemont on Wednesday.
Cassady Irwin finished with 10 kills in the match, while both Olivia Long and Lindsey Ayers contributed nine. Ayers added three aces and 11 digs in the game, while Irwin had two aces and five blocks and Long picked up 16 digs. Abby Leonhard tallied three blocks. Faith White had 14 digs and 23 assists and Kylee Whipple finished with 17 digs.
The Indians would not be able to make it two in a row on Thursday, when they fell in KMAC action to Loudonville by scores of 25-21, 25-11 and 25-15.
Long had five kills in the match, while White added three aces, eight assists and 13 digs and Ayers had two aces. Irwin tallied three blocks on the night and Whipple contributed eight digs.
