The Northmor volleyball team suffered a pair of losses on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Elgin.
The home team picked up a 2-1 win by scores of 21-25, 25-20 and 20-25. Both Lizzie Erlsten and Hannah James picked up 10 kills in the match, with Erlsten also recording 11 digs and 25 assists . Layla Castle added seven kills and Briez Abrams finished with six kills. Kallie Wright had three aces and 11 digs and Mary Dean added two aces. Also, Jillian Zeger picked up 11 digs.
The Golden Knights also took on Pleasant and fell by scores of 25-11 and 25-5. Castle had two kills in the match, while Wright finished with four digs and Erlsten tallied five assists.
Cardington Pirates
Cardington fell at Clear Fork in non-league volleyball action on Monday by scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-7.
Alexis Longsdorf picked up four kills and two blocks in the contest. Taylor Prince finished with three aces, while both Chloe Nida and Celia Hall had two.
