Northmor girls win at Buckeye Central

The Northmor girls placed first out of eight teams in Saturday’s Buckeye Central Invitational.

Leading the way for the team was Ryann Brinkman, who was fourth in 20:50.01. Natalie Hunter took seventh in 21:34.95, while Natalie Newman finished 12th in 22:34.59 and Kate Lehman ran 13th in 22:38.52. Veronica Kanagy placed 15th in 22:54.92, Macie Witherall claimed 23rd in 23:22.25 and Shelby Cooper got 26th in 23:48.73.

Also, Hannah Ambroise was 28th, Maddie May was 29th, Haylee Walker was 30th, Katie Statler was 35th, Elizabeth Ruhl was 36th, Ella Albert was 51st, Harley Barler was 52nd, Ella Creswell was 66th and Kaylee Pope was 70th.

In the boys’ race, Northmor finished second out of 10 teams.

David Blunk took fifth place in 17:35.89 for the Golden Knights, while Vinton Naylor ran 16th in 18:44.28 and Owen Yunker took 17th in 18:45.68. Dane Creswell placed 20th in 19:04.17 and Levi Hunter got 22nd in 19:13.44. Anthony Scheibe finished 24th in 19:18.08, while Carter Thomas ran 25th in 19:33.5.

Also, Ethan Amens was 38th, Markus Parsons was 39th and Elliot Wall was 47th.

Berlin Inv.

The Mount Gilead boys’ cross country team finished 11th out of 30 teams at Saturday’s Berlin Bear Den Dash.

Will Baker won the race with a time of 14:57.95. Owen Hershner took 39th in 16:16.48 and Tommy Emberg placed 67th in 16:35.86. Nolan Hershner claimed 95th in 16:50.63, while Henry Bartlett placed 110th in 17:00.96, Ethan Turner took 156th in 17:36.95 and Gage Bowersmith finished 169th in 17:51.4.

In the girls’ race, MG finished 24th out of 28 squads. Kimberly Staley took 36th in 19:41.62 to lead the team, while Gwen Hershner finished 97th in 20:50.24 and Adriana Hershner placed 152nd in 22:04.62. Haley Pfeifer claimed 160th in 22:22.43 and Danielle Pohlkotte was 168th in 22:41.76, while Natalie Jagger took 186th in 23:51.26.

Pickerington North Inv.

The Highland boys’ cross country team ran ninth out of 28 teams at Saturday’s Pickerington North Invitational.

Matthew Miller led the way by placing 27th in 17:27.83. Cael Gilmore took 55th in 18:15.5, while Ethan Harmon placed 65th in 18:30.36 and Henry Spence finished 72nd in 18:39.55. Jayden Marcum claimed 88th in 19:01.88, Coleman Chamberlain took 111th in 19:21.15 and Caden Barsic got 118th in 19:26.82.

Also, Maddox Weiss was 120th, Isaiah Ross was 186th, Bradon Lehman was 195th, Colton Clarkson was 205th, Carson Young was 206th, Benjamin Sorrell was 207th, Jacob Bowen was 218th, Konner Blaney was 220th, Jacob Garber was 257th, Justin Berthold was 260th, Bryden Bisbee was 268th, Micah McLeod was 281st, Remington Baker was 312th and Cash LaFever was 321st.

Finishing 15th out of 22 teams were the Lady Scots. Riley Matthews ran 71st in 23:37.87 in the race, while Braylin Romshak finished 75th in 23:40.43 and Brielle Gilmore placed 78th in 23:50.93. Abbie Pruett took 91st in 24:08.25 and Rose Green placed 102nd in 24:29.29, while Karli Chamberlain finished 137th in 25:48.73 and Chloe Bolton got 142nd in 26:04.74.

Also, Aubrey Kanagy was 147th, Addison Clever was 203rd, Emma Bolton was 214th and Mary Green was 217th.

The Cardington boys were 25th on the day. They were led by Dylan Compton, who was 41st in 17:53.14. Riley Patterson claimed 154th in 20:10.25 and Brayden Alwood placed 201st in 21:09.41. Cohen Rammelsberg took 210th in 21:24.24 and Jaxon Ongalibang ran 254th in 22:26.19, while Brayden Rammelsberg finished 263rd in 22:43.67 and Danny Townsend got 265th in 22:48.39.

Also, Hunter Jones was 285th, C.J. Jones was 319th, Jacob McNichols was 325th and Jacob Webb was 349th.

Cardington didn’t have a full team in the girls’ race. Magi Hallabrin placed 19th in 21:31.03, while Chessa Redman took 93rd in 24:11.29. Alayna Seavolt finished 110th in 24:45.93 and Bailey Crone placed 114th in 24:56.25.
