On Thursday, Highland picked up a road win over Clear Fork by scores of 25-13, 25-16, 21-25 and 25-16.
Kameron Stover had 20 kills, while Reagan Maibach finished with 15 kills and 10 digs. Kendal Kline added 32 assists and four kills and Makaylee Merckling picked up 24 digs. Addie Mullins contributed six blocks and three kills, while Mia Stanco had four aces, Jossalyn Varney added three aces and Logan Bradley tallied three kills.
The Scots suffered a road loss to Bishop Hartley on Saturday. After winning the first set 25-20, they fell by scores of 13-25, 20-25 and 20-25 in the next three.
Maibach had 15 kills, 10 digs and three aces in the contest. Kline added 28 assists, 19 digs and five kills. Merckling tallied 21 digs and Riley Walker added 10 digs. Also, Mia Stanco finished with eight kills and Logan Bradley contributed five kills.
Cardington Pirates
On Thursday, the Cardington volleyball team took a tough three-set loss to Loudonville at home by scores of 25-23, 25-17 and 25-17.
Alexis Longsdorf picked up seven kills in the match to go with four blocks and 14 assists. Lundyn Blevins had six kills, seven digs and three aces. Celia Hall had three aces and Rylee Donkin had two aces and 10 digs. Both Chloe Nida and Rylee Jones added two blocks.
