A slow start proved costly for the Highland boys’ soccer team when they hosted Horizon Science Academy on Saturday in the Division IV tournament.
Horizon picked up three goals in the first half in taking a 3-0 lead over the Scots. While Highland picked up a pair of goals in the second half, their opponents equaled that total in finishing on top by a 5-2 score to end the Scot season.
