Both Highland soccer teams earned Saturday shutout wins over visiting Lakewood.
The girls picked up a 5-0 win. They held a 2-0 advantage after the first half and added to that lead throughout the second half. Anna Jones had a huge game for the Scots, recording three of her team’s goals for a hat trick.
The boys’ team got out to a fast start to earn a 7-0 win over Lakewood. The team recorded five goals in the first half to take a commanding lead into the intermission before adding a pair of scores in the second half to clinch the win.
