Northmor golfers keeping busy

The Northmor boys’ golf team earned a 176-179 road win over East Knox on Monday.

The Golden Knights were led by co-medalists Trevor Brubaker and Cade Miracle, both of whom shot 42. Both Billy Bowlin and Trevor Black added rounds of 46, while Jack Bowdre shot 49 and Luke Benner scored 52.

During the previous week, Northmor hosted Cardington and Mount Gilead on Aug. 20 and topped the Pirates 173-199. Bowlin was medalist with a score of 41, while Brubaker shot 42 and Bowdre had a round of 44. Black’s score of 46 and Miracle’s round of 47 rounded out the team.

Cardington’s Logan Reynolds led his team by shooting 45. Both Rylan Fiant and Cyrus Linkous shot 50 on the day, while Jake Stainer (54), Carter Ramoneda (56) and Landon Strong (58) also competed.

Briggs Leffler had a round of 48 for Mount Gilead.

On Aug. 19, the Golden Knights were topped by Centerburg by a 152-173 margin. Brubaker led the team by shooting 38, while Miracle shot 42 and Bowlin had a score of 43. Black shot 50, Bowdre scored 54 and Parker Brown shot 66 to also compete for Northmor.
